Go to any page (e.g. this bugzilla page) and change the page zoom to 90%. Turn on gfx.webrender.highlight-painted-layers. Observe how the divider in the URL bar between the zoom indicator and the page action menu is red - it's using a fallback there for a one-pixel-wide thing. We can probably avoid that. Same divider appears on pages that e.g. have a reader mode icon

Presumably the XUL box at https://searchfox.org/mozilla-central/rev/196560b95f191b48ff7cba7c2ba9237bba6b5b6a/browser/base/content/browser.xul#924 is the divider

I think this is a gradient border image, i.e. bug 1409774.
