In https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email, there is no preference for disabling the 'routine' emails around needinfo/review requests. I would like for there to be an option. Without diving deep into advocacy (though I would happily do so), if I'm CC'ed on a bug and getting email'ed normally, adding a second email when I am the requestee of a needinfo (without the actual comment and the question) doesn't really help me. Likewise, if I've set a needinfo, I get emailed when it clears, which doesn't help me when the comment is in a different mail. I'm not talking about the 'daily nag' emails if needinfos linger unanswered. I mean just the ones around bug updates, setting/clearing them.
