Not sure whether this is strictly a bug....

I set (by mistake) the monospace font to a proportional font in the font
selection dialog. I have enabled true type fonts and imported the microsoft
fonts into my system.
When the proportional font is chosen line wrap does not appear to work - I have
to use 'rewrap'. If I correct the font to a proportional one then everything
works fine.
Can you give more details, please. Which version do you use (try 1.1 or later)?
What is the text you enter, where do you expect wrapping to happen, where does
it happen?

Currently using Mozilla 1.1.
Monspace font: Agfa Monotype andale mono iso8859-1
Proportional: Microsoft Georgia iso8859-1
Set plain text composition to wrap at 72 characters.

Rereading the bug its a bit confusing; the last sentence should be 'If I correct
the font to a monospace one then everything works fine.' Sorry! :-) When typing
any text with the monospace font it wraps as expected around the 72 character
boundary using word spacing; with (rather stupidly!) a proportional font set in
the monospace box it doesn't wrap at all.

Changing the font in Appearance/Fonts/Monospace still WFM.

Akkana, any idea?
We've had bugs in the past where layout/gfx was getting the wrong text extent
for variable-width fonts and so wrapping at the wrong place (say, 2-2.5 times as
long a line as it should have used). I bet this is something like that, where
gfx is getting confused by a particular font. Who owns fonts in gfx these days?
Is this still an issue?

pi
No response, marking WFM.
