Steps to reproduce:

1. Install uBlock (I've been using 1.16.14)
2. Click the uBlock button and open the log (the icon of a window with a list)
3. Close the window
4. Reopen the window with Shift+Ctrl+N

The title bar is a solid color (or the same image as in a normal window, with a theme). Mousing over the upper right corner activates the window controls, but they are only half-visible then.

Regression range points at bug 1448286:

Summary: Reopened uBlock log window has invisible window controls → Reopened uBlock Origin log window has invisible window controls
Since this doesn't happen with normal browser windows, I suspect some webext code is racing with tabbrowser and needs to be fixed.
Component: Tabbed Browser → Frontend
Product: Firefox → WebExtensions
Seems unlikely that this is ours, but worth checking out.

Too late to fix in 63, but we could still take a patch in 65 and potentially, 64 beta.
I've added added two screenshot that seems to be illustrating that might be pertinent to this issue, however seems to be bit more severe.

This seems happen time to time, and only solution is to kill Firefox completely and restart.
Let me backtrack, I read this wrong, I will search & file separately for appropriate category (Android)

I see the same problem with a different STR:

Restored add-on popup window without control buttons

  1. Install the https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/ticktick-todo/.
  2. Click its toolbar button to open the add-on popup.
3.1. Enable the "Restore previous session" in Firefox options. Close other Firefox windows, finally close the add-on popup. Re-start the browser and check the add-on popup window's title bar, which shows the problem.
3.2. Or, call any Restart Browser command (like Ctrl+Shift+J and Ctrl+Alt+R, or Shift+F2 then 'restart' command.) to restart and restore windows.
3.3. Or, close the popup after open it, then press Ctrl+Shift+N to restore window.
