why do newsgroups have short names in Mail&News sidebar? I personally dislike
viewing n.p.m.ui instead of netscape.public.mozilla.ui and (this is the most
boring part) it's *not* configurable from the GUI. IMHO the NGs should be showed
with long names by default, and the user should choose whether or not to use
short names (just by adding a checkbox in general account preferences)
Dup of bug 148201, but I think that should be WONTFIX. You can configure this
through a hidden preference. See bug 134751 comment 8 for instructions.
