Details

(Whiteboard: [Redstone 5])

[Affected versions]:
- Firefox 62.0b15
- ESR 60.1.1 (latest build from taskcluster)
- RC 61.0.2
- Latest Nightly 63.0a1

[Affected platforms]:
- Windows 10 Insider preview Build 17733.rs5_release.180803-1525

[Steps to reproduce]:
1. Start Firefox
2. Open about:preferences#security
3. Click Saved Logins
4. Click Import
5. Select Chrome
6. Choose what to import (I checked them all)
7. Hit Next.

[Expected result]:
- The wizard completes importing all the data from Chrome

[Actual result]:
- Firefox hangs when it imports Saved Passwords. Unresponsive script appears after a while:
Script: chrome://passwordmgr/content/passwordManager.js:133 (and other lines), it appears multiple times.

[Regression range]:
- Not a recent regression since it reproduces on ESR 60 as well, will investigate further to see if it's an older one.

[Additional notes]:
- Sometimes Nightly recovers from getting stuck.

Sounds like a variation of bug 1429560. How the UI gets updated upon changes there needs a rewrite.
