Details
Mozilla 1.0 RC3, RedHat 7.2, kernel 2.4.9-31, XFree86 4.2.0
My mail password was changed by the MS Exchange Server support staff. This
password had been saved in Mozilla's password DB. When attempting to access
mail via IMAP, Mozilla reported a failure to log on to the mail server but did
not request a new password. Instead it continued to attempt to log on. (This
server allows only a few failed log-on attempts before locking out access -
which happend pretty quickly. So this is an important bug to fix.)
A few minutes later, I used the Netscape 6.2.1 mail client to access the same
account, also via IMAP. The Netscape mail client did ask for a new password.
So something has changed from the Mozilla code I know and love in Netscape 6.2.1
to the current Mozilla 1.0 RC3.

Oops. When I said "this password had been saved in Mozilla's password DB," I
meant the OLD password had been stored. The new password hadn't been entered yet.
