User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:61.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/61.0 Build ID: 20180704192850 Steps to reproduce: Now that thunderbird have switched from the MPLv1/GPL/LGPL tri-license to MPL 2.0, /usr/share/doc/thunderbird/copyright should reflect this. Also, /usr/share/doc/thunderbird/MPL.gz should be updated with MPL 2.0 would be included in /usr/share/doc/thunderbird/copyright. Reported originally in Ubuntu Launchpad bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/thunderbird/+bug/1028267 Actual results: /usr/share/doc/thunderbird/copyright is still describing the old licenses. /usr/share/doc/thunderbird/MPL.gz is still the old license. Expected results: /usr/share/doc/thunderbird/copyright file should reflect the change to MPL 2.0. /usr/share/doc/thunderbird/MPL.gz should be replaced. The edits have been made to Firefox. Please make same changes to Thunderbird: 1) replace the /usr/share/doc/thunderbird/copyright file, with the firefox copyright file. 2) remove /usr/share/doc/thunderbird/MPL.gz file 3) add /usr/share/doc/thunderbird/MPL-1.1.gz file to the directory 4) add /usr/share/doc/thunderbird/MPL-2.0.gz file to the directory I will attach screen shots of the thunderbird and firefox directories.
Here is the updated Firefox directory for your reference. Thanks G
This is tested on verion 57.0b2 and still a problem. Unable to test on versioin 60 - unable to find /usr/share/doc/thunderbird/copyright file for version 60. Thanks G

As the comments in the launcpad report also say, this is a file coming from the distro packagers, not included upstream. So nothing for us to do here.

Thanks for your help, Magnus and Wayne. I will contact the packagers. Take care :) G
