From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win 9x 4.90; en-US; rv:1.0rc2) Gecko/20020510 BuildID: 2002051006 After an indefinate amount of time, any graphics (GIFs or JPEGs) displayed in web pages will be filled with small dashed lines that are scattered throughout th graphic. The problem does not occur in my Netscape 4.47 or Internet Exploder installs, only in Mozilla. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Does not seem to any particular trigger for problem. Just after a short period of time (about 1 to 5 minutes) the dashed lines appear. It can occur when I first load a web site, or if I am scrolling a graphic into view.

Sounds almost like an overclocked video card and/or overclocked CPU at first glance. Or possibly a bad video card or video driver. Paul, what is video card are you using? Do you have the latest drivers for it?
Updating video drivers seems to have fixed the problem. I guess I do not understand why old video drivers would only affect Mozilla and not other applications. *shrug* Sorry to have bothered ya'll with this. I have resolved the bug as INVALID for you as it does not look like a problem with Mozilla.
