Executables which are downloaded seem to download ok, but
when run complain that the file is corrupted.  Happened
to me twice, once with ActivePerl download, and with
Handspring Visor software download.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Download an executable.
2.Run it.
3.Complains that it is corrupted.

Actual Results:  The executable is corrupted.

Expected Results:  Downloaded it without error.

reporter: can you provide download links to the exact downloads which were
corrupted?  also, can you try upgrading to a more recent mozilla build?

netscape 6.2.3 is based on mozilla 0.9.4, which is considerably out-dated.  how
about trying netscape 7.0pr1 (which is based on mozilla 1.0rc2)?  thx!!

The exact version of mozilla I installed under Win2000 is

  mozilla-win32-1.0rc3-installer.exe

which is the 1.0RC3 version.

I'll try to reproduce the errors and send the exact links, although it
seemed to be happening on every .exe I downloaded, regardless.
