From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.0rc3) Gecko/20020523 BuildID: 2002052306 when manually setting proxy settings, the settings are lost on reboot. every time i start mozilla i have to go to the proxy settings and and re-click manual proxy configuation. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.select manual proxy configuation 2.save and close prefrences 3.naviagate around to a few pages 4. restart system 5. re-start mozilla This problem doesn't appear at home were manual settings are not used
try to restart Mozilla before the reboot (including Quicklaunch)..
After you make a change to preferences, open your prefs.js, and look at the network.proxy.* entries. There is a "type" entry, it should be set to "1".
