The Gateway 2000 Multi-function keyboard utlity (version 6.1) allows you to press round buttons on the top of the keyboard and assign functions to them. The Internet button can be set either * To open the following web page * Run a specified application I have Mozilla associated with the http: protocol. When I set the multi-function keyboard utility to open a specifed website, then press the Internet button, a new Mozilla browser window opens, with the URL "%1" (no quotes). When I set the multi-function keyboard utility to run the specified program, "C:\Program Files\mozilla.org\Mozilla\mozilla.exe" http://www.hotmail.com, it also opens a new browser window pointed at "%1". (no quotes) When I remove the url from the specifed program and set the program to open as "C:\Program Files\mozilla.org\Mozilla\mozilla.exe", it automaticly opens the default home page properly.
resembles bug 62214 i think the problem may be that mozilla doesn't accept command line arguments like old NS4 used to (bug 95091, 57420, 115041 and more)
Mozilla accepts near the same syntax as NS4.7x. (see www.mversen.de/mozilla/commands.txt ) All bugs Ruth Kristin mentioned are dealing with helper apps (excluding bug 62214) BTW: Which Build ID are you using ? Does it work if you do Start/run/http://www.mozilla.org ?
Build ID 2002052306 I can start URL's fine from the Start>Run command, and can even start a URL using "mozilla http://www.whatever.com". But only the Multi-function keyboard utility messes up and opens %1.
It is possible that you ask the Gateway support for help ? -> XP APPS

what i mean is that this possibly has to do with another unsupported commandline argument - or it gets parsed wrong.
Reporter, have you tried an URL of the following sort? "C:\Program Files\mozilla.org\Mozilla\mozilla.exe" "http://www.hotmail.com" Note that quotation marks enclose the argument.
