[Steps to reproduce]:
1. Launch Firefox;
2. Type in @google or @amazon in the awesome bar;
3. *Check enhancement suggestion;
4. Press enter on the keyboard.

[Expected result]:
The search engine has brought up results for the @google or @amazon query;

[Enhancement suggestion]:
- if a user wants to search for the "@amazon" or "@google" strings a way to cancel it out
*the user would have to open the search engine and re-input the strings;

One can already search for search aliases with the one-off search functionality. E.g., type "@amazon" in the address bar and press alt-down to select the first search engine.

Also typing *with* quotes gives similar expected results: ""@amazon""
