From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.0rc3) Gecko/20020523 BuildID: 2002052306 I'm not sure if this is correct or not, but the amount of memory used by mozilla when left idle for a while[read: hours] grows to over 60 Megs of Memory and a VM size of 55 from the very low numbers the program starts with, with the program almost out I believe I should try to bring this to the developers attention. This is with quickstart enabled and maybe if at all one window left open, but can happen with just quickstart enabled. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Surf the Web 2. Fall Asleep 3. Wake up and look at memory usage Actual Results: 60 Mem/55 Swapped Out Expected Results: Much lower memory usage. I'm marking this critical as per the criteria of a possible memory leak.
Sorry this bug is invalid because it's to general. It would be valid if you can show us a place in the code with a mem leak or if you can attach a log from a tool like purify. We have already a few bugs open about mem leaks. (search with the keyword "mlk" )
