Details
Currently, Mail&News will only show, in the thread pane (From/Recipient columns), the display names when a header field has both an email address and a display name. When this happens (which is most of the time), the e-mail addresses are not shown.
I believe it would be convenient to allow three different setups
- display name only
- e-mail address only
- both
This is not related to the "Show only display name for people in my address book" option. It is probably similar to bug 697031 but for Seamonkey M&N.

For this desire we have addon "Show Address Only"

I doubt that there is any interest and enough manpower to add a similar function to SeaMonkey.

No objections to workaround with Add-On Show Address Only Version 0.1.9 [converted] from addons.thunderbird.net, so I close this one WONTFIX

Sorry for the lack of feedback here. 0.1.9 does install (after converting) and seems to work (Seamonkey 2.53.2).
0.2.0 seems to have no changes other than manifest.json instead of install.rdf.
