Steps to reproduce:

I have 19 email groups starting with xttv with different suffixes. For decades I've been able to type xttv into the Bcc box and select from the 1st 6 of those 19, then click under the tiny bar to the extreme right of that groups window of the main Thunderbird 'Write' page) and see groups 7-12 of those xttv groups listed, and choose one of them. Most of my messages are to pass on information about an ex colleague who has died, funeral arrangements, etc. Each group has under 50 names.


Actual results:

This morning, when I clicked below that tiny bar the 1st xttv group appears in the Bcc box and the whole small xttv list disappears from sight.


Expected results:

My 7th to 12th xttv groups have always appeared and enabled me to click on the one to whom I wished to post my email.

Please clarify the report: What is "the tiny bar", what is a "groups window", what do you mean by groups? Mailing lists?

Can you attach a screen shot (preferably not of the entire screen but just the area or window in question)?

Are you using the so-called "Contacts Sidebar", see View menu, F9.

If by "tiny bar" you mean the scrollbar of the popup which appears when you enter xttv, then you've just reported a duplicate of bug 1486178 which will be fixed in TB 60.1 at the beginning of September.

Using the scrollbar basically doesn't work currently, it will transfer the selected recipient and dismiss the popup. Maybe that's what's meant by "list disappears from sight".

No reply received. Let's assume this is a duplicate of bug 1486178 which is fixed in TB 60 beta 11 and will be fixed in TB 60.1 ESR.
