See bug 1486962 comment 2. Right now, Mac users need to relaunch from the command line in order capture traces. This adds friction for trace capture from dogfooders, especially if the bug is hard to reproduce.

We should use a set of intelligent defaults so that trace capture doesn't just silently fail when Firefox was launched with the normal OS mechanism.
