Interesting. It doesn't look like it's an invalidation issue. All the text *is* on the page, on top of eachother and becoming increasingly non-transparent. It's just that we're not completely covering the text underneath? Bounding box snapping bug maybe?

This happens without WebRender and in Chrome and seems to be intentional.

Huh, I would've bet that it didn't happen on chromium when I tested it, but sure.
