I'm using Mozilla 1.0 RC2 on a Compaq running Win NT.I was trying to log into a
Netscape-AOL screenname of mine with no success. I uninstalled the software and
reloaded it and produced the same results. I went to an older Netscape and had
no problem getting into the account. If there is nay more info required pls
contact me by e-mail.

There is another bug on this which was resolved and was recently reopened. This
is probably a duplicate of that bug.

Can you delete all Netscape/Aol cookies with the cookie manager and try again ?

I have downloaded the new RC3 and cleared the cookies from the cookie manager.
I have tried to log in again to the netscape e-mail and I'm still stuck in an
endless loop at the password prompt. I have also removed the screenname from the
password manager to see if that would remedy the situation, nothing has changed.

reopen bug; I don't think this bug is a duplicate of the form submission bug
(bug 162648). The problem isn't about not submitting but about a cookie bug
(you get into a strange loop of loading 3 or 4 pages before it eventually fails)
I think there is a different bug that this is a duplicate of

I found the duplicate bug; Chris Lowell (reporter) confirms by e-mail that this
is working in mozilla 1.1 also.
