I tried to change the component of a bunch of bugs, but when I click "Make
changes to several of these bugs at once", I can't select a component, the only
option is "--do_not_change--".

I did also try selecting a Product, but there are still no options to select a
component.
This happens if the bugs in the original list do not all have the same product.
You can argue that it should do something more reasonable in that case, but it's
hard to figure out what...

Since you haven't come up with a better idea for me, marking WONTFIX.
yeah, I guess the union of all the components across all products might be kind
of scary.
