Used version: Mozilla 1.0rc3, WinNT4.0 SP6 The Mozilla Mail-window is pushed in the background when cancelling to choose a new signature. Reproduceable: always Steps to reproduce: 1. Open the Mail-application and at least 1 other windows application (e.g. the Explorer) 2. Open the Mail & Newsgroup Account settings 3. Click the choose-button for signature-selection 4. A standard windows file-selection-window opens: click cancel 5. click cancel in the account settings Actual result: the mozilla mail-window is pushed to the background and the explorer is on top Expected result: the mozilla-window stays on top of the window-hierarchy
I have to correct my self: the mail-window IS pushed to the end of the window-hierarchy! BUT the new top window will be the former second window (e.g. the Mozilla-browser window used to submit a bug)
I also see this on buildid 2002060108 on Win2KSP2 but doesn't happen on buildid 2002060107 on Linux (RH7.3)
Confirmining and updating summary, original summary "Mail-window pushed in background when cancelling to choose a file". Reporter if you think summary is not correct please tweak. Still happening in BuildID 2002080508 on Win2KSP2

Ever confirmed: true
Summary: Mail-window pushed in background when cancelling to choose a file → Wrong window returns to top when file dialog window is used in mail account settings
I still see this in Mozilla 1.3a (build 20021121) on WinNT4. Will this bug ever be fixed or planned to be fixed? (This is no reproach! I just like to know)
