User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:62.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/62.0 Build ID: 20180830143136 Steps to reproduce: Start Firefox Actual results: Firefox appears in the taskbar but no window is visible Alt+Tab shows there IS a firefox window open but I can no make it visible. Selecting it with Alt+Tab it still does not show up. Right clicking on the task bar and selecting "Firefox" from the list opens another Firefox task on the task bar. It's window is always showing. This is a new issue. It's either the 1803 windows update or the update to 62 from Firefox. Expected results: Firefox should start and show the window.
Hi Florian, I tried to reproduce the issue on Ubuntu 16.04 on Nightly 64.0a1 (2018-09-12), FF 63.0b5 and FF 62.0 and didn't managed to on neither of them. Can you please test this in safe mode? Here is a link that can help you: https://goo.gl/AR5o9d. I think it will be a good idea to retest this on Firefox Nightly. Here is a link form where you can install Firefox Nightly: https://nightly.mozilla.org. If you still have the issue please create a new profile, you have the steps here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles.

Due to lack of information, I will mark this issue as incomplete. Please feel free to reopen it anytime you manage to reproduce it following the steps from Comment 1.
