When the dotted focus box appears around a link whose search string was entered using "Search for text when you start typing", it now takes two taps on the Enter key to open the link, instead of the former one tap.

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:61.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/61.0 Build ID: 20180807170231 Steps to reproduce: 1. Turn "Search for text when you start typing". 2. Open a web page that contains multiple links. 3. Jump the focus box to one of the links by entering appropriate search text. (For example, if the link friendly name is "Foo Bar", and there is nothing else on the page containing the string "foo", type "foo" (no quotes).) 4. Hit enter. 5. Hit enter again. Actual results: Nothing (visible) happens after the first time the enter key is hit. Link opens after the second time the enter key is hit. Expected results: Link opens after the **first** time the enter key is hit. No second hit necessary. Note that this, expected behavior was the behavior before Firefox Quantum. Basically, the bug introduces an extra enter key tap for every link opened in the above described manner, with no clear purpose.

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:64.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/64.0 (20180912100128) I've tested this report on Windows 10, Windows 7 and OS X 10.13 using the latest Nightly and Fx release build. I did not manage to reproduce it following the above steps. When enable "Seach for text when you start typing" feature and then search for a link on any page, I'm able to open the link with a single press of the Enter key. Could you please retest this using latest Fx release (Fx62) and latest Nightly build (https://nightly.mozilla.org/) and report back the results? When doing this, please use a new clean Firefox profile, maybe even safe mode, to eliminate custom settings as a possible cause (https://goo.gl/PNe90E).

Jamie, I'm going to mark this issue as WFM for now. Please feel free to reopen when you can find a reliable STR (Steps To Reproduce). Thanks!
