User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (iPad; CPU OS 11_4_1 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/605.1.15 (KHTML, like Gecko) FxiOS/13.2b11866 Mobile/15G77 Safari/605.1.15 Steps to reproduce: After installing Firefox on my Android device, I attempted to login to my Firefox account. I entered my email address and then attempted to paste a password copied from my password manager. Actual results: I expected to see an option to paste the password I had copied from my password manager. However, no paste option was available. Expected results: Long pressing on the password field should have provided the option to paste text.
Hi, thanks for your report. I tried to reproduce your issue on the latest version of Nightly 64.0a1 (2018-09-09) and Release 62.0.1 but the paste option appears after a long tap on the password field. Devices: OnePlus 5T (Android 8.1.0) and LG G4 (Android 6.0.0). Can you retry on the latest version of Nightly? Also, could you please give us some more information regarding your device (make and android version)? I'll wait for your update, thanks.

Thanks for the quick reply. I installed the beta and can indeed paste in the password field. However, it seems to take far longer than other applications to display the paste option (and even other fields in Firefox, e.g. the URL bar). Also, the action seems to be quite finicky. Tapping and holding in the same area for a long period would sometimes display the option, sometimes not. I could not determine when or why it would or wouldn't show. I'm using a Google Pixel 1st gen running Android Pie. Also, I noticed the same issue when logging into Bugzilla, so perhaps this is a general issue with form fields in Firefox. Pasting into this text area worked just fine though -- just pasting into the password field was a problem.

Hi, after more research on this issue I found that the long tap on the password field it's almost instant. Sometimes I can reproduce a lack of time for password field but very rarely. Tested on Google Pixel (Android 9), Samsung Galaxy S8 (Android 8.0), OnePlus 5T (Android 8.1.0). I'll let Susheel to prioritize this.

I was able to reproduce this issue by performing different steps. Environment: Device: Nokia 6(Android 7.1.1), Samsung Galaxy S8(Android 8.0) and LG G4 (Android 5.1); Build: Nightly 64.0a1 (2018-10-10), 63.0b13 and Release 62.0.3; Steps to reproduce: 1. Go to a login page (ex. bugzilla.mozilla.org) 2. Tap on a field and quickly after that do long tap (ex. email or paste) Expected result: Tapping on a field and quickly after that doing a long tap it brings the context menu. Actual result: Tapping on a field and quickly after that doing a long tap doesn't bring the context menu. Note: This issue it's reproducible with any type of fields.
