To adapt the words of Donna from That 70s Show "My menus are so HUGE!"

Menu captions in the menubar, and items in menus have too much vertical padding
(about 1-2px too much top and bottom), so long menus take up most of my vertical
screen space. This is a problem with 640x480 as everything below "Print Preview"
in Messenger's file menu is off the bottom of the screen.
