visiting the Tesla model 3 reservation profile page freezes browser-wide networking

Steps to reproduce:
1. Have Tesla model 3 reservation.
2. Login to Tesla account.
3. Visit https://www.tesla.com/teslaaccount/profile?rn=RN107302854 (insert your own reservation number)
4. Open the dropdowns (payment method, trade in)
Actual results:
No other tabs can load pages or send ajax.
Extensions with menu items when clicked open tiny blank overlays instead of their usual window
Session store data is no longer updated.
Expected results:
Everything continue to work.
(Perhaps file access and network access are on same thread shared by everything and it gets blocked up?)

Is it possible to provide alternative STR that doesn't require purchase/reservation and logging into the account?
