Steps to reproduce:
I set "Blank page" as my home page. Then I clicked the home button with the middle mouse button.
Actual results:
A new tab opened, showing a blank page. The awesomebar was not focused.
Expected results:
The awesomebar should be focused.

I've tested and I can reproduce your issue on the latest builds from Nightly 64, Beta 63 and Release 62 channels.

This issue is reproducible on Windows 7 x32 using the latest Firefox Nightly 68.0a1, Beta 67 and Release 66.0.4.
