Steps to reproduce:
Thunderbird 52.9.1 is used.
Disable sound notification as can be seen on the attached screenshot.
Actual results:
Receiving a new message, an audio alert is played anyway.
Expected results:
No audio alert should be played.

It turns out a second system, with the same mail account, was connected to the speakers too, which played these sounds. Sorry for the noise.
