I have Firefox nightly on multiple devices. And I have saved a lot of passwords all mys devices works fine On my work device everything was working just fine. Bookmarks, password etcs I was then suddenly greeted bt a yellow square saying that I have to login in to sync. So I logged in and it said it's doing the sync all my bookmarks were still there Next day I checked the passwords and no passwords are there now. the logins.json file is now just 2Kb. it was 700Kb before I can send you the sync logs if you want and if it's safe
That's very odd and something we've not seen reported before. The logs would be great, thanks!

I've seen this one time before. The weird thing is now I have no logins on my one laptop and all of my logins on my work pc and both of them says sync is done
Thanks for posting the logs, Henrik! I think your `logins.json` might have become corrupted. When that happens, Firefox automatically replaces the file, but doesn't notify Sync. As far as Sync's concerned, everything is up-to-date, even though it needs to download everything from the server. We fixed this for bookmarks and history by moving the Sync metadata into the store, but we haven't done that for passwords yet. You can force your laptop to re-sync by resetting the `services.sync.passwords.lastSync` and `services.sync.passwords.syncID` prefs in about:config, then syncing again. Could you please try that, and let us know if you still don't see your passwords? Also, would you mind checking if you have a `logins.json.corrupt` file in your profile folder? Thanks!

FWIW, the logs don't seem to show a "root cause" of this. Sorry you had this problem :( I'm going to close this as a dupe of the bug where we are tracking the poor job we do here - thanks!
