When following the instructions for 'Simple Seamonkey build' at https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Developer_guide/Build_Instructions/Simple_SeaMonkey_build , the user is instructed to do the following steps:

hg clone http://hg.mozilla.org/comm-central/
cd comm-central
python client.py checkout

However, client.py was removed in bug 1479904. The build instructions should be updated to reflect the new build process, or direct the user to clone a revision where these instructions are valid.
