We don't have a good guide to using events. This should include articles such as:
* Introduction to events (what they are, why they exist, basic concepts of how events work)
* Listening for events (onfoo, addEventListener(), why one or the other, and some basics on using some of the most common events such as "load", "click", etc.
* Event handler tips and tricks (dealing with getting at data you need, preventing blocking the main thread on long operations, other things that come up while writing event handlers)
I'm sure there's plenty more, but this is a start.

We have this in the learning area:
https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Learn/JavaScript/Building_blocks/Events
Does this provide most of what you need? It would be good to think about where this ends, and perhaps a more events guide could or should begin.
