The user agent string reported by the browser includes "Gecko" - doesn't additional term I.III. of the Netscape Public License prevent this usage?

This trivial bug has remained unresolved for ages - license anomolies make life very difficult for open source developers.

Can we please just clarify the usage of the detailed trademarks, *where they appear in the code*.

The example I have given is that 'Gecko' appears in the code, and is transmitted in the user agent string, when an HTTP exchange is initiated. I am not a lawyer, but this appears to violate the NPL. If I am wrong, can somebody please correct me on it.

Cheers.

http://devedge.netscape.com/central/gecko/ seems to encourage Gecko-based
browsers to include "Gecko" in their UA string.
AOL has given rights to use Gecko to moz foundation -> wfm
