This is a repeat of bug #138688, which damon closed on 24 May 2002. The bug is
_NOT_ fixed in the 1.0 release; both the Asian Reflection and the ASU cases
still render improperly. For full description, see bug #138688.
I can't re-open the bug, so I'm filing a new one. Please don't close it until
the bug is fixed in a release, not just in CVS or a nightly build!
I'm also calling it `major', because it's a serious regression in rendering
quality -- one of my main sites is no longer rendered correctly by the browser I
am trying to get the university to give up MSIE for.

1.) This bug has no reciepe..and no test case. I can not even fix a bug for
the branch.. it has to be fixed on the trunk (accomplished).. tested.. and then
approved for the branch. All this is currently being done. Slow yes.. but it
is in the process.
2.) The other PNG bugs were fixed.. and are currently being approved for the
branch. Does not mean you can open another bug because you need to track this..
the other bugs track this.. and still can be tracked.. as not fixed on the
branch. The other bugs are still being tracked.. on is pending for checkin on
the branch.
