At the referenced website, attempting to upload multiple
images using a java applet causes mozilla to lock in "run" 
mode for several minutes, then crash.

This site works fine with NN 4.7x


Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. from the referenced URL, log in with password "mozilla"
2. select multiple file upload from the menu
3. grant priveleges, then use the java applet to select jpeg images 
for uploading.  Two is enough.  One might be enough, I didn't test.
4. Click on the "submit" button.


Even if this applet/web page is somehow found to be faulty,
mozilla's response (ie; crashing) is unacceptable.  The owner
of the web site in question is very reponsive to enquiries.

Can you please upgrade to JRE1.4 if you use JRE1.3.x ?

upgrading to jre 1.4 fixes the problem, but I would
not consider this bug report to be adequately answered
unless JRE 1.3 is made to work (or at least to fail 
more gracefully) or using it is disallowed.

This is a bug in the JRE1.3 Plugin and every plugin can easy crash mozilla
because plugins are running in the same process.
Sun fixed many problems with Mozilla with JRE1,4...
