149412 - displays ok on that page, does not display correctly in my mailbox

That link above displays the <pre> and <nowiki> tags instead of rendering them.
 However, when I received the same message in my mailbox, it rendered them
instead of displaying them.  As a result I had to "view source" to understand
what lcrocker was talking about.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.login to my nupedia mail box
2.view message

Actual Results:  It rendered the <pre> and <em> tags instead of displaying them
as text.

Expected Results:  displayed them as text, as NS 6.2 does.

I have a screenshot of what resulted, if that's relevant (I doubt it).

until now this sounds as there's <pre> and not &lt;pre&gt; in the source...
reopen if it's another problem..
