Sometimes if I have a maximized window that gets session restored, the Gtk window gets the right size but we are confused and render the browser window in a smaller area. See the attached screen shot. If I then restore the window, its size matches where the contents of the window are drawn.

I think this is different from bug 1454156 but I'm not sure.

What OS is that and can you reproduce it regularly? not seeing it on ubuntu gtk here

I'd like to track this further in bug 1494212, which has at least an assignee and regression window. I the fix in there doesn't change your situation, Cameron, we can re-open or re-file.
