User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:64.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/64.0 Build ID: 20180925220052 Steps to reproduce: open multiple tabs, with: browser.warnOnQuit warnonclose etc all to true. in release version, ff offers to save and quit, wich is the desired behaviour. occorging to: https://www.raymond.cc/blog/enable-save-tabs-on-exit-for-firefox-4/ in 64.0a1 (2018-09-25) (64-bit) this doesn' t work anymore Actual results: Only shows default warning to close multiple tabs. Expected results: Warning closing multiple tabs, with the offer to save tabs or close.
Do you mean the warning when you close the last window and do you have "Restore previous session" active in options/general/startup ?

No, i mean the offer to save current sessions if more than 1 tab is open. I don't want to save the sessions all the time, but i want to be able to choose to do so. Using the settings mentioned in the link, I always got an extra button in the closing warning, offering save and quit. in nightly, with the same settings, I only get Cancel and close tabs.

The quit and save dialog was removed with bug 1438499. Read comment #40 and comment#41 in that bug report. You can always (!) manually restore a session with (alt key)/History->Restore previous session. I have to mark this report wontfix because this is a intentional change.
