Details

The new ADB extension currently shows up on both about:addons and about:debugging.

We have the following issue on GitHub to hide the extension from about:addons:
https://github.com/mozilla/devtools-adb-extension/issues/8

For now we keep it visible to make it easier to test/debug/support. We should take a decision about it before shipping the new about:debugging. Options are:
- show it everywhere
- hide it in about:debugging (since it really has nothing interesting to inspect, but would require custom mechanism)
- hide everywhere
Summary: [remote-dbg-next] Decide is ADB extension should be hidden in aboutdebugging / about:addons → [remote-dbg-next] Decide if ADB extension should be hidden in aboutdebugging / about:addons
Is this automatically installed by about:debugging? What are the risks of showing it in about:addons? People uninstalling it?

I am going to close this, there's no strong incentive logged anywhere that motivates this. If anybody feels strongly about it, please file another bug.
