149460 - Cant enter username/password in password dialog

My homepage is set to a password protected site. When I open Mozilla, the
password dialog shows up, but I cannot enter username or password, even if I tab
or click on the controls. The Ok/Cancel buttons still work, so I can  cancel and
reload the page, where the password dialog shows up again and works correctly.
This has happened with versions 1.0 RC1, 1.0 RC2, 1.0 RC3, and 1.0 Official
builds (all Talkback enabled), I haven't tried prior versions.

Have you installed Mozilla over an older build ?

If yes do this :
uninstall mozilla, delete all files in c:\programs\Mozilla.org\Mozilla\ (but
save your plugins) and reinstall mozilla.

If you still see the problem try "mozilla -profilemanager" and create an
additional test profile.

I tried what you suggested, but the password dialog still does the same thing.
Its only when I start mozilla (with Quicklaunch enabled)

WORKSFORME on mozilla1.1/win2k.  Reporter ([e-mail]), please try
mozilla1.1 to see if this is still an issue.  If so, please try opening the
javascript console (Tools/Web Development/Javascript Console) and then go to
your passworded site.  Do any error messages appear in the javascript console?

Is the site you are visiting using HTTP basic authentication, over a non-SSL
connection, or over SSL?

If this problem no longer appears, please resolve this bug WORKSFORME.
