What did you do?
================
1. While reading a page on MDN, a popup box displayed from the bottom of the screen asking if I would like to make a contribution to support MDN.
2. I entered my name, email, and an amount.
3. A popup box entered requesting my credit card information. I entered it and pressed submit.

What happened?

I received an error message stating that my real credit card was not acceptable. It was expecting a test card, and recommended this link: https://stripe.com/docs/testing

What should have happened?
==========================
It should have accepted my credit card and sent the contribution to MDN.

Is there anything else we should know?

Thanks for the report, and sorry for the confusion. This feature was supposed to be enabled only for staff for testing, but it was accidentally enabled for everyone. It may take a while for the banner to disappear from the CDN.

We plan accepting credit cards on Monday, October 1st, for MDN users who have opted in to beta testing (see your profile settings for the beta setting), with an increasing but random rollout after that.
