chose address for new e-mail
When I want to create a new mail for a boddy that is already in my address book, I clic on the address button in the 'new message' form, then I select the line of the contact, I clic on the 'To' button, and then : segmentation fault ... communicator version : 4.6
Is this really a bug in 4.6? If this is a 4.6 bug it is in the wrong place, it if is a 5.0 bug then I would like to know which build.
I don't know the correct place where to put this bug. My Netscape version is 4.6 and the address book is completly unusable !!

lchiang: can you please help armand find the correct location for a 4.x bug? Marking as invalid since this is not a 5.0 bug, but it sounds like a bug for 4.6.
armand - you need to go to these areas for technical support: newsgroups: snews://secnews.netscape.com/netscape.navigator snews://secnews.netscape.com/netscape.communicator snews://secnews.netscape.com/netscape.macintosh snews://secnews.netscape.com/netscape.communicator.unix Also see http://www.ufaq.org/ for the "The Netscape Unofficial FAQ",which is maintained by Netscape Champions, and has links to still more online information. Or, visit http://help.netscape.com/nuggies/ or http://home.netscape.com/support/index.html for more info. However, you can try to do the following: in your address book, export the contents of your address book to an .ldif file format. In your address book, create a new address book and import the contents of the .ldif file into it. Then, go ahead and delete the entry that says "personal address book". Rename the new address book you created to personal address book. This may help you. As Paul mentions, this bug database is for the 5.0 project and we all work on 5.0. I hope you will go to the one of the places I suggest above to seek assistance. Thanks.
