149528 - add user interface for selecting multiple checkboxes in a column

Make an email account and send yourself a ton of emails (Like maybe 300), then
set it so that you view as many emails as possible in your inbox on the site.

It should be possible to, say, select 50 checkboxes in a row just like if you
were selecting multiple emails in mailnews. Currently, I either have to Check
All and remove the ones I don't want by hand to delete (which might be many), or
individually check each one. I don't delete mail until I'm done reading them all.

Of course, the bug is not about the yahoo site, but about the ability to select
multiple checkboxes in the same column of a table.

I know this is a bit OT, but Gmail lets you select multiple checkboxes even if your browser (e.g. Firefox) doesn't support it.  Click a checkbox to the left of a mail item, hold Shift, click another checkbox, and all the items in between will be selected too.

There will be no UI for this other than a extension that does this. So I am wontfixing this to state the obvious. If you feel this is really necessary move this bug into the FF or Seamonkey component and watch how fast it is wontfixed again.
