Steps to reproduce:

- open developer tools (cmd+alt+i)
- toggle responsive design mode (the icon showing 2 devices)
- type "alert(1)" into console. Same goes for window.confirm


Actual results:

nothing


Expected results:

alert should pop up showing "1"

I've managed to reproduce this issue on Win 10, Mac OS 10.13 and Ubuntu 16.04 using:

-Firefox Release 62.0.3(20181001155545)
-Firefox Beta 63.0b11(20181001131022)
-Firefox Nightly 64.0a1(20181004100222)
