Octane results in perfherder have the meaning of "better" and "worse" around the wrong way: https://treeherder.mozilla.org/perf.html#/comparesubtest?originalProject=mozilla-central&newProject=try&newRevision=22dfb0d357ed&originalSignature=3c0fa9c4a96f067ac4cbc05c55e54c95de1bf835&newSignature=3c0fa9c4a96f067ac4cbc05c55e54c95de1bf835&framework=11&selectedTimeRange=172800 For octane, bigger numbers are better.

I wasn't clear, this "backwardsness" is only true for subtests, the whole octane test is currect. Both the total score and subtest scores have the "bigger is better" meaning.

That link can no longer land on a working page. We've deprecated signature hashes in favor of signature ids.
This should be an updated & working link to the page you've pointed at: https://treeherder.mozilla.org/perf.html#/comparesubtest?originalProject=mozilla-central&newProject=try&newRevision=22dfb0d357ed&originalSignature=1775643&newSignature=1775509&framework=11&selectedTimeRange=172800
