These were added in bug 1455218. Etherpad has been fixed upstream in release 1.7.0. https://github.com/ether/etherpad-lite/releases/tag/1.7.0 Masayuki analyzed the list of instances in the blacklist on Oct 3: Updated: *.etherpad.org/p/ etherpad.wikimedia.org/p/ pad.ouvaton.coop/ pad.systemli.org/p/ pad.aquilenet.fr/p/ Not yet updated: pad.riseup.net/p/ board.net/p/ *.sandstorm.io factor.cc/pad/ *.etherpad.fr/p/ piratenpad.de/p/ notes.typo3.org/p/ etherpad.net/p/ *.framapad.org/p/ pad.lqdn.fr/p/ public.etherpad-mozilla.org/p/ demo.maadix.org/etherpad/pads/ Couldn't access: pad.ondesk.work/p/ Couldn't test: *.cloudron.me/p/ free.primarypad.com/p/ Dropping all of these from the blacklist will hopefully provide the necessary impetus for some of these other instances to update. (Unfortunately I was unable to persuade the maintainer of the Mozilla instance to update ours.)

Etherpad fixed the bug with new Gecko behavior and has already released it in this August. So, even if some instances still use older versions, we can request them to update the version. This patch removes all Etherpad instances we know from the blacklist of strict keypress dispatching. So, Nightly testers can find old instances easier.
