cartridges can't get an IP from the DHCP server.

opened REQ0250246 with QTS to reseat cartridges.

QTS reseated the cartridges but the switch is still showing no MAC addresses learned. can you confirm on your end that you're still getting APIPA? it's now at the log in screen so i can't run any commands as i don't have the login to the device.

:dhouse, were the NIC firmware updated on these cartridges?

Cartridge 30, I mounted an iso and installed an OS yesterday. I did this to try to troubleshoot the issue. 

Yes it still getting APIPA.

can we flash the firmware on these cartridges again? if that doesn't work, i can request HPE to replace them.

I am reapplying the firmware update on cartridges 29,30 on moon-chassis-14 (mdc2).

The updater did not re-apply the firmware updates despite the "force" argument. The log show them skipped since the cartridges already have the target versions of the firmware.

We'll have to try manually performing the firmware updates from ilo to see if those will re-apply.

Thanks Van! No, I don't need anything done for this one. I need to try the firmware update again since it didn't work with HP's update tool.
