Correlations for this show (100.0% in signature vs 00.77% overall) moz_crash_reason = MOZ_RELEASE_ASSERT(domWindow). Earlier Bug 1248529 mentioned a failure to open a Gecko window due to OOM.
Right, similar to bug 1248529. But seems like there has been a spike in this crash recently, so seems worth looking into.

The spike coincides with the day after Bug 1496599 changed some signatures - not sure whether that is relevant or not.
Updating affected branches since I do see crashes on 64 nightly and 63 beta.
