Instead of ellipsis it would add more info to fade out the title
Similar to bug 1477243 and bug 658467
Instead of cropping and printing an ellipsis (...) it would be better to fade out the title as done in the firefox tabs as part of bug 658467 (I think with `mask-image`, see its patch). With that usually 1-3 more letters are readable.
Probably a good idea to make this a reusable widget because it could be used at other places like bug 1477243
