Details

(Whiteboard: [pdfjs-c-ux])

[Affected versions]:
- Beta 63.0b14
- Nightly 64.0a1

[Affected platforms]:
- macOS 10.13
- Ubuntu 16.04 x64
- Windows 7 x64

[Steps to reproduce]:
1. Open a pdf (e.g. https://www.cambridgeenglish.org/images/153310-movers-sample-papers-volume-2.pdf)
2. Right-click on the pdf.
3. Select "View Background Image".

[Expected result]:
- The option should be greyed out if the background is simply black or white or there isn't a background.
- Or maybe the user should be redirected to a page with the image of the background even if it's a white or black image.

[Actual result]:
- The page is redirected to this link resource://pdf.js/web/images/texture.png no matter which pdf you use.
- A grey square is displayed in the middle of the screen.

[Regression range]:
- If it is a regression I will find it as soon as possible.

[Additional notes]:
- If you go to http://www.htmldog.com/examples/pullquotes2.html and right-click on the quote marks. Then the quote marks are displayed in the middle of the page (because they are part of the background). But if you click anywhere else on the screen the option "View Background Image" is greyed out.
I don't think this is a regression. I can reproduce the issue on an older version of Nightly from 2012-10-18, when the button "View Background Image" was first implemented.
