From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.0.0) Gecko/20020530
BuildID: 2002053012
On the page https://www.kiwibank.co.nz/banking/login.asp , I am unable to log on
to the Internet banking service. The message "Kiwibank internet banking is now
loading. Please wait......." is displayed and nothing happens.
This may be a problem with the strange JavaScript based interface it uses - the
page works fine in IE, so I am guessing that this is an evangelism issue - my
JavaScript knowledge is limited so I am unable to investigate further.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to https://www.kiwibank.co.nz/banking/login.asp
2. Enter anything as the "Access Number" or password
3. Click "Sign On"
Actual Results: The message "Kiwibank internet banking is now loading. Please
wait......." is displayed.
Expected Results: There should be a message indicating the incorrect user/pass,
or if a valid user/pass is entered the online banking service should appear.
The bank's tech support was not helpful, suggesting I update my copy of Internet
Explorer, but they claim the site works under NS6. I have been unable to test
this though.

Confirmed on build 2002060508 windowsXP
The button calls the js function SubmitLogin() which is defined in the script
https://www.kiwibank.co.nz/banking/scripts/Login.js, it opens a new window and
calls the function SubmitForm() in
https://www.kiwibank.co.nz/banking/scripts/script.js
I do not know enough javascript to understand why it doesn't work in Mozilla but
works in NS7, I didn't see any browser sniffing code which would justify this.

Ok, I've just created a new profile and it works now. Mike, could you try on a
brand new profile and tell us if it solves the problem ?

I can log in fine with a new profile - I guess it wasn't an evangelism issue
after all. It is still very strange though.
Thanks for your help - I wouldn't have thought of trying it on a new profile,
but I'll keep that in mind in the future.
